Vi have used the freeware Matlab toolbox Uvi_Wave for many of the examples in the book.  The toolbox can be downloaded here (down at the moment). Alternatively, the zip-file containing the toolbox is also available from our local server here. A Uvi_wave version running smoothly on Matlab 5.x is available here (not supported by the creators of Uvi_Wave). The changes are only syntax corrections of some commands. No functionality has been changed. A total of 17 m-files have been changed. Note that this corrected version is not supported by the creators of Uvi_Wave. Note also that all credit for designing and programming the toolbox goes to Universidad de Vigo in Spain.
